Movement Anchored in Matter
These bowls are the result of a collaboration between two creators – a sculptor and an artistic caster. One imparted the form of movement, the other captured it in metal through the casting process.
A solitary bowl – cast in bronze or brass – carries within it a gesture. Movement anchored in metal.
The model was conceived as a sculptural study – tectonic, irregular, organic. The precise hands of artistic caster Martin Horký translated this impulse into matter with deep respect for the material.
The surface of each bowl is hand‑polished. Its form bears both the resistance of metal and the imprint of human craftsmanship.
The bowl is heavy. Still. Wherever it is present, it holds space and time.
